We are told that if we cannot do something it is us that are the problem as opposed to our environment, our disability is the problem and that's what needs to be fixed. As a therapist specialized in chronic illness and disability, I’m on the front lines—witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of our government’s decisions on disabled Americans. The reality in America 🇺🇸 is 1 in 5 households with a disabled family member are facing food insecurity. This summer, I launched Chronically Ill Conversations, an online workshop series for adults living with chronic medical conditions. To make it accessible, I offer a pay-what-you-can model and people are interest
