Tsavo Trust is using their helicopter to monitor remote packs as part of Tsavo Trust’s painted wolf monitoring programme. This has been developed with PWF and funded by the Painted Dog Fund. Lucky Ruth getting to film this, as the helicopter sped along the Tiva Riva, on a visit to the project to help train their dedicated conservationists on monitoring techniques.

For many dog breeds around the world, the wolf represents an instinctive sense of caution and withdrawal. This is a natural defense mechanism rooted deep in their survival instincts.
