Tethering and hot spots with non cricket phones.
May 2, 2016 · Thanks for the help guys I'd just use it for Hotspot. But since I'm kinda new with this I was looking at the Blu phones will they work with cricket to tether with out modding the phone at all. Or suggestions for a decent phone under 150 that will work I have Verizon now and thinking about switching to cricket for unlimited. Thank you guys.

I have no real need for a smart phone , but if able to use a smart phone on Cricket to access the internet for the laptop the idea of combining the two is appealing. What smart phones are working well on Cricket as hotspots ?

Sep 7, 2022 · Cricket being so lockdown on hotspot usage and the removal of the 5 for $100, is really what made me leave Cricket. I get that you may not want to offer unlimited hotspot usage without some type of restriction. But on a data limited plan (5 for $100 was 10GB each line), then I should be able to use that data however I wanted to.
