Apr 13, 2019 · Make sure the status bar is checked in the View menu. Make sure the Terrain layer is checked at the bottom of the Layers panel. Without that Google Earth is flat and you will see elev 0 everywhere. If using Windows, make sure the bottom of the Google Earth window hasn't slipped behind the Windows task bar.
