This beach has lovely, fine white sand. When we were here in January 2020 the waves were quite huge and it was very breezy. Queen Elizabeth II Park is adjacent to the beach as is the Surf Club Coolangatta. Across the road, Marine Parade, are lots of restaurants and residences, including Beach House at Seaside Resort where we stayed for a week.

Nice beach but rocky along the shoreline in spots. The area where most spread their blankets on the beach to enjoy the sunshine has nice light tan coloured sand. Great place to relax and have a swim in the clear water.
