Most PC users use Xbox controllers for PC because of how seemlessly it works or generic ones if they want to cut costs, and they already have them if they wanted to use controllers, while the people who would prefer using Dualsense are mostly those who have a PS5, and thus already have a controller anyway.

Dualsense features are exclusive to PS5 games (with dualsense and dualsense edge controllers). XBOX has something as well, which is vibration on xbox controller triggers...but it doesn't come even close to a dualsense controller...the xbox has only vibration and could be cool in car games (Forza Horizon has it, also on PC) but that's it.

Aug 27, 2024 · DualSense support has been a bit of a mess on Windows. Depending on game and used API special features might work via BT or not and the fallback is good old DirectInput. There is even a compatibility matrix on PC gaming wiki combining different games, tools and connection methods underlining the issue.

Dec 10, 2023 · Dualsense on PS5 is amazing. I haven’t used mine for pc until now but I think I’ll be switching back to keyboard and mouse, because I prefer to hear the sound through my boxes. KB + mouse is also easier in a first person game imo.

Nov 13, 2022 · Apparently uncharted on PC has some speaker sounds from the dualsense but I didn't really notice anything. Adaptive triggers and haptic feedback works. I just plug the controller to PC via cable and just launch the game from desktop.
Dualsense controller is shutting off after it connects to my PC.

Turn on controller (for me at this stage the controller worked as normal while connected with the wire) Disconnect the USB cable (PC should lose connection to the controller and the controller should turn off) Put the controller back in pairing mode, and then pair it from the PC one last time.
