Yang Tengbo, a Chinese businessman has been banned in the United Kingdom for allegedly being a ‘Chinese spy’. The authorities have alleged that he purposely established an ‘unusual degree of trust’ with Prince Andrew to gain influence in the country and to help China have a leverage over the politicians.

The alleged spy is considered to have engaged in "covert and deceptive activity" on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

An alleged Chinese spy who a judge ruled had formed an "unusual degree of trust" with the Duke of York has been named as Yang Tengbo. He was previously known only as H6 due to an anonymity order protecting his identity, but a High Court judge ruled on Monday that he could be named.
