Redshirt sophomore Braedyn Locke started nine games this season after Tyler Van Dyke suffered a knee injury against Alabama. Both Locke and Van Dyke are leaving Wisconsin, along with redshirt freshman Cole LaCrue.

Wisconsin is considered one of the contenders to land Cal transfer quarterback Fernando Mendoza, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Nakos lists the Badgers among three other top suitors: Georgia, UCLA and Indiana.
