Inside, the EX30 Cross Country looks identical to its asphalt-only counterpart. A vertically oriented 12.3-inch infotainment display also contains the driver information gauges and runs Volvo’s Google-based interface. You can also use Apple CarPlay, and instead of speakers in the doors, there is a single soundbar spanning across the dashboard.

Volvo has unveiled the new EX30 Cross Country as a more rugged version of its existing EX30 compact SUV. The fully electric model has been given a visual overhaul, to set it apart from a regular EX30, with skid plates, wheel arch extensions and new black panels at the front and rear.

True to the classic recipe, Volvo has added flared wheel arch extensions and skid plates front and back, while also raising the ride height by 0.7 inches. The CC variants will also wear unique 18-inch wheels, with optional all-terrain tires.

The Volvo EX30 Cross Country might look familiar, because this production car is indistinguishable from the prototype model that was revealed alongside the EX30 in 2023. Volvo says that we can expect the Cross Country to join the EX30 line-up by the summer,
