In his first season coaching football after retiring from the NFL, former Louisville Cardinals star and pro quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led Miami Northwestern Senior High School to the Class 3A Florida High School Athletic Association state title on Saturday night.

Bridgewater, who spent two of his 10 NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints, won a state championship in his first season as a high school head coach. Bridgewater's Miami Northwestern team rolled to a 41-0 victory over Raines High School Saturday night for the Class 3A state title in Florida.
