Representative Toni Hasenbeck of Elgin has filed a legislation to prohibit an individual from sharing revenge porn created through the use of artificial intelligence.
"(The sharing of) pornography, whether real or created by AI, destroys a person's sense of privacy and dignity, wrecks their mental health and ruins lives," the bill's author said.
