Shane Lowry lived every golfer's dream on Thursday by making a hole-in-one on Pebble Beach's iconic seventh hole. But if you've been paying attention to Lowry's career, this was almost to be expected.

A Shane Lowry shot from the tee struck a man during Sunday’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. During his tee shot on the 15th hole, Lowry hit his ball 297 yards just to the right of the fairway and struck a tournament volunteer who had been standing on that side of the course.

Golf can be a dangerous game for spectators and volunteers along the course. We got an example of that on Sunday evening at Pebble Beach, when Shane Lowry’s drive on the 15th hole hit a volunteer on the course.

Am, and heading into the final round on the Monterey Peninsula, it is perhaps the biggest in the field who is just out sharing the lead. Rory McIlroy was simply brilliant Saturday in the cold and blustery conditions as he navigated Pebble Beach Golf Links in bogey-free fashion en route to a 7-under 65 to sit one stroke behind 54-hole leader Sepp Straka at 16 under.

With all the big names at the top of the leaderboard with 18 holes to play at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, we're in for a treat on Sunday.

The pair took home massive amounts of money as they finished in the top-two at the prestigious event in California.
