The Georgian Dream Government on Monday announced its decision not to impose counter-sanctions on Estonia and Lithuania, following their recent decision to sanction 20 Georgian officials, including Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze,

Lithuania, in agreement with Estonia, expanded the list of sanctioned persons in Georgia. It added 17 more politicians and officials who suppressed protests in the country, according to Lithuania's Foreign Ministry.

Estonia on Sunday imposed additional sanctions on Georgia's political leaders in response to the violent suppression of pro-EU protests in the country related to recent parliamentary and presidential elections.
