Nebraska says goodbye to ‘Voice of Huskers’ Greg Sharpe

LINCOLN, Neb. — Greg Sharpe, the radio voice of Nebraska football and baseball, died after a yearlong fight against pancreatic cancer, his family announced Saturday.
A crowd numbering in the hundreds honored Nebraska broadcaster Greg Sharpe at a Friday memorial service filled with grief and lighter memories of a personal and professional life well lived.
