Ellen DeGeneres stepped out in California on Jan. 14, sporting her latest hairstyle — salt and pepper locks — which she previously revealed after she moved to the U.K.

DeGeneres, 66, was recently spotted rocking a gray pixie cut during an outing in Montecito, California, earlier this month. The talk show host spent most of her Hollywood career as a blonde, later going darker when she and wife Portia de Rossi traded their Montecito pad for an estate in England last year.

During the Jan. 14 outing, DeGeneres unveiled a striking transformation, sporting gray hair in place of her signature blonde pixie cut. Her casual attire—a dark pullover, blue jeans, and white sneakers—reflected her laid-back style. This appearance, however, doesn’t signal a Hollywood comeback.

This is the first time DeGeneres has returned to the U.S since moving overseas and claiming 'this is the last time you’re going to see me' in July
