The U.S. Transportation Department (DOT) has dropped a lawsuit filed against Southwest Airlines by the Biden administration, which had accused the carrier of operating two chronically delayed flights.
DOT considers flights that are flown at least 10 times a month chronically delayed if they arrive more than 30 minutes late more than half the time, including cancelations as well as diversions.
