The Charger Daytona, the first electric muscle car from Dodge, arrives with a roar, unless you hit the mute button.

The Stellantis chief design officer took it in stride. “It really was a muscle car first, a Mopar first as well. And then there was the fact that it was electric,” he tells Road & Track of the result, the Dodge Charger Daytona EV. “So we wanted to give a love letter to the Mopar faithful, without it being a retro-themed design.”

Two 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona models will be in showrooms by year's end. Both are dual-motor, all-wheel-drive ( AWD ), two-door hatchbacks. Eight colors are available. In keeping with Dodge tradition, they’re named with a wink, and include hues like Bludicrous, Peel Out, and White Knuckle.

Enter the electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona with as much as 670 horsepower, an available Donut mode, and a subwoofer on the outside of the car.
