"I want to start with just a message of absolute gratitude," said Republican David McCormick as he declared victory against incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D) in the 2024 race to represent Pennsylvania in the U.

The U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania will now go to a recount, Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt has announced.
