Authorities are investigating after a man died following a shooting late Saturday in Far North Dallas, police confirmed. Dallas police responded at about 10:05 p.m. to a shooting call in the 14200 block of Coit Road, Officer Michael Dennis, a police spokesperson, said in an emailed statement Sunday.

Just after 10 p.m., police were called to the El Rancho Supermercado on Coit Road. Investigators found a man shot inside a pickup behind the business.
