The struggling cable news giant will undergo an overhaul that will leave its television division diminished while beefing up its digital business.

CNN boss Mark Thompson is set to lay off hundreds of employees following Donald Trump's successful bid for the White House. Thompson has set his sights on cutting high-priced hosts and anchors as part of wide-ranging layoffs throughout the organisation.

Recent reports revealed that the famous and renowned network CNN is on the verge of sacking numerous employees which will also include prominent faces and high profile anchors as well. This decision by CNN authorities comes following the US Presidential Elections 2024.
