An IndiGo flight, 6E 5009, en route to Delhi, made an emergency landing in Patna on Wednesday morning due to a bird strike.

According to data from FlightRadar24, the aircraft took off from Patna’s Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport at 8:41 am but was diverted back shortly after departure.

The aircraft had taken off from Patna at 8.42 am when it suffered the bird strike and returned immediately thereafter.
