Due to the high possibility of rain, parades previously expected to roll Sunday on the Uptown New Orleans route have been rescheduled. The krewes of Femme Fatale, Carrollton and King Arthur will now take place on Tuesday night starting at 5:30 p.

According to the Mardi Gras Decision Support Page, a web page dedicated to Carnival weather predictions, the New Orleans area has about a 45% chance of rain from 6 a.m. through 11 a.m. Sunday. Chances of rain go up to 64% for 12 p.m. through 5 p.m. and fall to 35% from 6 p.m. through 11 p.m.
