The president of New York University’s College Republicans chapter was forced to resign after speaking on Barron Trump.

An NYU student has officially been punished for her "controversial" comment on Barron Trump. Barron Trump, the son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, is an 18-year-old freshman at the New York school.

NEW YORK − Five days after the president of New York University’s College Republicans described Barron Trump as an “oddity on campus,” she was forced to resign from her position − a decision she now says she regrets.

The leader of the national organization said that the university chapter’s president had not been authorized to speak with Vanity Fair for a profile in which she said President Trump’s youngest son was “sort of like an oddity on campus.

“Barron Trump represents the future of the conservative movement, and we would be honored to have him join the College Republicans of America,” wrote College Republicans President Will Donahue, who also noted that the group had broken a 100-year precedent by endorsing his father before the Republican primary.
