On July 25, after almost three decades of waiting, fans are reuniting with their favorite hockey-player-turned-golfer as Adam Sandler returns in Happy Gilmore 2. The former Saturday Night Live star is returning to one of his best roles to break Happy out of retirement and hit the links once more.

The 13-time Grammy award winner shared a sweet post on her Instagram Story where she rated the sequel, that stars Adam Sandler, a “13/10.”

Happy Gilmore 2 marks the return of Adam Sandler as the titular golfer after almost three decades since the first film. This Kyle Newacheck-directed film was released on Netflix on July 25, 2025.
