AC Milan ultras have shown their frustration after the 0-0 home draw against Genoa, directing a chant at the club's owners in which they said 'We are not Americans.' RedBird Capital Partners and American businessman Gerry Cardinale have been in charge of the Italian giants since May 2022.

Facing a combative Genoa team, AC Milan's wasteful forwards could not break the deadlock in a 0-0 Serie A draw on Monday (December 16). Alvaro Morata came close in the 79th minute when he hit the crossbar.

AC Milan failed to honour the 125th anniversary of the club's foundation with Sunday's drab goalless draw with Genoa which left the seven-time European champions way behind Serie A's top teams.
