Chavista leader Nicolás Maduro defended Friday his presidential inauguration for a third six-year term, questioned by anti-Chavismo and a large part of the international community after opposition accusations of “fraud” in last July's elections,

During his speech, Maduro talked about the number of alleged mercenaries detained in Venezuela for trying to undermine his government, saying they numbered more than 150, came from 25 countries. He also used his speech to hit out at former Colombian presidents Alvaro Uribe and Ivan Duque.
