Rory McIlroy may be seven shots back going into the final round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, but the defending champion believes he still has every chance of securing win No. 5 at the tournament

Although Rory McIlroy has not played well in his first tournament of 2025, he is certainly not out of it at the halfway point.

Daniel Hillier of New Zealand birdied the final two holes to shoot 2-under 70 on Saturday and take a one-stroke lead into the final round of the Dubai Desert Classic.
