Back in March, Nixxes’ PC conversion of Horizon Forbidden West provided a gorgeous and silky smooth experience for those lucky enough to own one of the best gaming laptops. The porting specialists then followed that up in May with the best PS5 port I’ve ever seen in Ghost of Tsushima.

So here are some photos. First, the PS5 Pro. Then, the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, including throwback grey versions of the PS5 Pro, PS5, DualSense, DualSense Edge, and PlayStation Portal — which all include a new version of Sony’s easter egg microtexture that includes a “30” next to the other PlayStation symbols.

This isn't the first Sony has used the intoxicating power of nostalgia to tempt its customers to part with their hard-earned cash; a decade ago it released a 20th-anniversary variant of the PS4, again resplendent in PS1 clothing.

Sony is celebrating 30 years of PlayStation and the celebrations are quite elaborate. The company has recently announced the limited edition PSOne themed PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro as part of these celebrations.
