Nia Jax‘s challenger at WWE Bad Blood will be determined on the September 27 episode of WWE SmackDown. On the September 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton faced Bayley and Naomi in a high-stakes Tornado Tag Team Match.

In the match, both Bayley and Naomi pinned Jax, giving uncertainty over who would challenge her at WWE Bad Blood. WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Bayley and Naomi would face each other on the September 27th episode of WWE SmackDown with the winner being the number one contender.
