The MTA unveiled its newest train cars on the G line Tuesday, introducing a five-car fleet with an open-gangway design at Church Avenue station in Brooklyn.

The MTA rolled out its first “open gangway” subway train on the G line Tuesday, with more expected to enter service in the coming months, according to the transit agency.

The MTA debuted its open gangway R211T subway cars on the G line at the Church Avenue station in Brooklyn, in service between Kensington and Long Island City.
