The year-old controversy surrounding Archie Panjabi‘s departure from CBS’ The Good Wife lingered over NBC’s TCA panel for Blindspot, which is adding Panjabi as a new cast member for Season 2.

Panjabi departed CBS drama “The Good Wife” at the end of last season. She left the show with a development deal from 20th Century Fox Television, though that deal appears to have expired.
