Curry and Draymond Green have won four championships together. Green will make $25.9 million next season. Some believe the Warriors should trade the forward this summer to acquire another star for Curry and Butler. While that could happen, Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report predicted that Green will be back with Golden State next season.

The Golden State Warriors were eliminated from the 2025 NBA Playoffs on Wednesday night. After taking Game 1, the Warriors dropped four straight and were knocked out in the second round. Game 1 also marked the loss of star guard Steph Curry, who went down with an injury. Without him in the lineup, Golden State struggled to find a rhythm.

Draymond Green made the bold proclamation back in February at All-Star Weekend. The Warriors had just traded for Jimmy Butler. Green was feeling good. That's when he said the Warriors could definitely win a championship with their roster as presently constructed.
