Trisha Krishnan is set to reunite with actor Suriya for his highly anticipated film, tentatively titled ‘Suriya45’. This marks a significant collaboration between the two stars, who have not worked together in nearly two decades.

In 2002, Trisha and Suriya acted together in the romantic-drama Mounam Pesiyadhe and in 2005 for the action flick titled Aaru. While they were also cast in the 2004 Mani Ratnam film Aaytha Ezhuthu, they were not paired together. Suriya also played a cameo in Trisha’s 2010 film Manmadan Ambu, which also starred Kamal Haasan and R Madhavan.

Trisha Krishnan recently celebrated 22 years in cinema, marking the occasion with the cast and crew of Suriya 45. The actress was seen cutting a cake, celebrating with the Kanguva actor. The video shared by the makers of the Suriya starrer included the words,

RJ Balaji is directing Suriya's 45th film and Trisha Krishnan has been roped in to play the female lead. Allu Arjun was arrested by the police on Friday and released on interim bail on Saturday in connection to a fan death during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
