After severe weather and heavy rain on Thursday, more storms are headed for Iowa on Friday afternoon prompting a tornado watch and flood watch.

A confirmed tornado is moving through Davenport, Iowa, prompting urgent warnings for people in the area to take shelter. The tornado was reportedly spotted just northwest of Davenport and is now heading toward Le Claire and Princeton.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of southwest and south central Iowa and northwest Missouri until 8 p.m.
A tornado watch has been issued for parts of central and eastern Nebraska, including the Omaha area, until 10 p.m. Thursday.
TONIGHT: FIRST WARN - Scattered storms up to 9 pm, with a chance for strong straight-line winds. Turning drier after sunset with storms moving south and east. Temperatures are largely in the 80s with south winds at 5-15 mph.
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A few isolated thunderstorms will impact parts of southwest Iowa. Some of these storms could produce hail, damaging winds, and maybe a brief spinup. The chance will go until about 6 PM.
