The City of Wilmington’s Commission on African American History is hosting the first ever MC Sha-Rock Day on May 17.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) honored eight fallen officers at their annual Peace Officer Memorial Service.

Southport Police, Animal Protective Services, and NC Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) are monitoring the situation.
