The twin brother of a former Stoughton police detective accused of strangling Sandra Birchmore in 2021 has agreed to no longer work in law enforcement in Massachusetts and be added to a national database of sanctioned officers.

Allegations included in the decertification agreement indicate he had a sexual relationship with the woman his brother is accused of killing.
