McIlroy has had an up-and-down week at Caves Valley, from day-to-day and from hole-to-hole. After a 4-under 66 on Friday, he turned in a rollercoaster round of 71 on Saturday which features four birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey.

The Scot carded three birdies and a bogey to increase his 54-hole score to 16-under and take a four-stroke lead over Scheffler. The Ridgewood, New Jersey, native, meanwhile, carded four birdies and a bogey during moving day.
