Occasional ash emission was still observed from Kanlaon Volcano on Sunday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) on Monday. In its bulletin, PHIVOLCS said a continuous degassing with occasional ash emission as well as a weak emission of plume of up to 75 meters tall were monitored from the volcano.
