First Alert Weather: Worst of the cold is behind us on Thursday
After a blast of arctic air dropped the mercury down to piercingly cold temperatures and wind chills near -20 degrees, we're finally getting a "break" in the cold weather on Thursday.
First Alert: Warmer weather builds in through the weekend
After experiencing the coldest air in years for our hometowns, warmer air will press into our area as we approach the weekend. By Sunday, high temperatures will push back to our average for this time of the year, reaching the upper 40s. Even warmer air is possible later next week.
