A 114-110 loss to the Chicago Bulls continued a course the San Antonio Spurs would like to end. They’ve lost five games since just before Christmas. Every one of them came down to final minutes or overtime.

On Monday night, the San Antonio Spurs took a 19-point lead in the third quarter against the Chicago Bulls but lost their lead in the final minutes, falling in embarrassing fashion, 114-110. Veteran Chris Paul had one of his better games with the Silver and Black, racking up 15 points to go with nine assists.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in the mix for a postseason berth this year, but they took a bit of a step back with their 117-114 loss to the New York Knicks on Christmas Day.
