The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup was expanded in part to create matchups exactly like Friday's quarterfinal between English power Chelsea and one of Brazil's biggest clubs, Palmeiras.

FIFA cut standard ticket prices for the semifinal between Chelsea and Fluminense at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Tuesday to $13.40 from $473.90 earlier in the past week. FIFA has used dynamic pricing for the 63-game tournament.

The semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup have a UEFA Champions League feel to them. Fifteen-time UCL winner Real Madrid and newly-crowned UCL champion Paris Saint-Germain face off in the marquee match of the two semifinals.
