Among MacBook Pros, the best deal I've spotted so far is a $250 discount on a 14-inch M4 model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It randomly fell to $1,715.05 three times in May, according to the price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel, but otherwise its Prime Day price of $1,749 is its best deal since launch.

To score a great deal on a great computer, just look back a couple of years. This 2023 MacBook Pro was a stellar device back then and it’s a solid computer today. It has an M3 chip and 18GB of memory, so it will crunch data almost as well as many brand-new computers.

Amazon Prime Day will run until July 11, with Prime members having access to thousands of deals, from electronics to outdoor gear and everyday essentials. And Apple slashed prices on many of its products on Amazon.
