A 9-year-old girl was injured in a southwest Atlanta shooting. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called out shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday to the 1700 block of Myrtle Drive SW to find the girl suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her leg.

The victims, whose identities have not been released, were conscious, alert, and breathing when officers arrived.
