An upstart challenger to Elon Musk’s X app has hit a big milestone. A recent report claims Meta’s Threads app now has 400 million monthly active users, up from 350 million in April.

X, meanwhile, has north of 600 million monthly active users, according to previous statements made by its former CEO, Linda Yaccarino.
