Johnson, 81, will leave the game as one of its most accomplished stars, both on and off the field. He won two Super Bowls with the Cowboys, a college football national championship as both a player (Arkansas, 1964) and coach (Miami, 1987). He was also the NFL ’s Coach of the Year in 1990 and recent member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor.
