OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has become the latest tech billionaire to signal allegiance to Donald Trump by pledging to donate to the president-elect's inaugural fund.

Mr. Raskin, who is in line to become the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee next year, also called on the Trump transition team to disclose contracts it has with private companies vetting its candidates and documents related to its internal investigations into any improper conduct that occurred during the selection of nominees.

Trump has been a vocal critic of tech companies, and he signaled earlier this month that he won't shy away from antitrust enforcement. The incoming president nominated Gail Slater, who advised Trump on tech policy during his first term, to head the Department of Justice's antitrust arm.

Tech CEOs are scrambling to land on President-elect Trump's nice list ahead of his inauguration next month, with Meta, Amazon, Uber and OpenAI's Sam Altman each donating at least $1 million to the inaugural fund.

Mr. Altman and OpenAI have recently hired key executives who previously worked for the Clinton, Obama and Biden administrations.

Dara Khosrowshahi's contribution represents his largest political donation ever and a promise to cooperate with the administration.
