Anchor Chris Cuomo agreed to a new multiyear contract with NewsNation on Monday. Cuomo will continue to host his weeknight show, CUOMO, at 8 p.m. Eastern. The network reported the program increased total viewership by 54% and increased by 28% among adults 25-54.

NewsNation has agreed to a new multiyear deal with anchor Chris Cuomo, the network announced Monday. Cuomo will continue to host a weeknight show at 8 p.m. EST as part of his new contract with the cable news channel,

Chris is a one-of-a-kind talent whose unrivaled analysis and commentary have helped grow the audience at NewsNation and strengthen our brand,” said Sean Compton, president of Nexstar’s networks division.

Chris Cuomo has signed a multi-year deal to continue hosting Cuomo on NewsNation’s primetime lineup. Terms were not disclosed. Cuomo’s show was launched in 2022 following his exit from CNN the previous year.
