The Detroit Red Wings hit another bump ... By four minutes into the second period, the Wings trailed 4-0. Marco Kasper was called for a penalty 4 seconds into the frame, and Jake Guentzel converted 12 seconds later off a setup by Nikita Kucherov.
Tampa Bay does everything but score against Detroit and has nothing to show for it in another loss to a division opponent.
Once again, the Tampa Bay Lightning are chasing down another postseason spot. Currently, the team holds the third Atlantic Division spot. With a 5-1 win over the visiting Detroit Red Wings, the Bolts now have 53 points on the season.
