Microsoft Excel allows you to assign names to any cell range using its "Define Name" utility, assessable via the right-click menu.
Click "Define Name" in the Defined Names group in the Ribbon to open the New Name window. Enter the new name of the column in the Name text box.
Check if the name used in the formula is defined in Name Manager. Ensure that the text values have quotation marks around them. Enable the add-in required by the used function.
