The refresh rate is how frequently the monitor updates the image on the screen. If your GPU’s frame rate is higher than your monitor’s refresh rate, you’re going to run into some problems.

This will display the refresh rate your monitor and computer are currently set to. It usually defaults to 60Hz, even if your monitor technically has a higher refresh rate.
